Sunil Kumar Sood, MD, is Chief of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at North Shore University Hospital and an attending physician in infectious diseases at Schneider Children's Hospital both of the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System in Manhasset and New Hyde Park, New York. Dr. Sood is also a professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and trained in infectious diseases at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans. His research interests include influenza.
